To reward myself for my 45min workout (Joe Wicks plus a 30-day challenge to doing the splits I found in the app store), I decided that it was a soft boiled egg and soldiers kind of day! Strange not to be in school but nice to be able to work out and have breakfast - two things I don't usually have time to do on a normal school day.
The rest of the day was EXTREMELY productive: I did two loads of washing (and hung them out in the sunshine), cleaned the house, set school work for the next few days and filled my face with everything in sight. That wasn't in the plan but it couldn't be helped - when chocolate calls, I answer!
One thing I did do which I thought would bring some positivity to a life in isolation, is a 'Wall of Gratefulness'. Basically, every day, my fiance and I are going to write one thing that each of us is grateful for. It is inevitable that we will go a bit stir crazy and that at times it will be difficult to stay positive so this is a way for us to find positivity in such an uncertain time.
Productive day done, it was obviously time for a game of Monopoly... and a bottle of Prosecco - two more things we never usually have time for mid-week, or early week in this case! Any of you that know me, know that I am THE most competitive person ever (I get it from my dad) so you can imagine that I didn't take kindly to the other half's strategy of 'buy everything so India can't' and was ready to give up about 20minutes in. After an hour I decided I was more interested in the music that was on and gave up on Monopoly - I still played but it was clear that my heart wasn't in it, much to the dismay of my fiance! I know what you are thinking - what a wild night, who is this crazy rebel?! Well, it got even more out of hand... I didn't go to bed till midnight!! I know, I'm so sad but my bed and a few episodes of Brooklyn 99 were too much to resist!!
